WHO WE ARE

The Consortium of Research Centres in the Northern States of Nigeria (CRCNN) is a group of credible public and private research centres drawn from across the northern states of Nigeria to scientifically find solution to the increasing challenges facing the northern part of the country. It is an independent organization and has no any political or religious affiliation and its activities are carried out with utmost integrity and in line with global best practices. The CRCNN as a group has the primary aim of carrying out scientific research in various areas of human endeavor through its well experienced network and disseminate same to relevant stakeholders for policy action.

WHAT WE DO

• Create a working synergy between research centres/institutes in the northern states of Nigeria;
• Develop proposals and carry out researches on mutually agreed themes relevant to northern states in particular and Nigeria in general;
• Generate data and policy recommendations that would contribute towards addressing the peculiar socio-economic challenges facing the northern states of Nigeria;
• Liaise with other consortia within and outside Nigeria to implement projects and programmes relevant to the partners and the states in the region;
• Carry out any other programmes, projects or activities deemed to be important for the development of the northern states of Nigeria in particular and Nigeria in general.
